Religious Education and Hebrew School are available to children of families who are congregational members.
The B’nai Sholom Religious School is in session Sundays, 10:00 A.M. - 12:00 P.M. through the school year. There are approximately 40 children attending the school in kindergarten through tenth grade.
All holidays and festivals are celebrated and studied with various workshops and programs. Our religious school’s success depends on the commitment of teachers, students and parents. Teachers strive to kindle new ideas and excite vivid imaginations, while their classes explore the distant past and analyze the unfolding events of the present. We are hoping the children will learn to take pride in their heritage. Hebrew School starts in October. Children entering the 4th grade from families who are congregational members are eligible. There are beginning, intermediate and Bar and Bat Mitzvah classes. Any questions should be directed to Rabbi Jean Eglinton (522-2980).
