Dorothy Polan Memorial Landscape Fund Your gift to the Dorothy Polan Memorial Fund will be used to beautify the grounds of B’nai Sholom. Your gift honors the memory of Dorothy Polan who loved the Temple and her garden.
Building Fund Gifts are used to help preserve our beautiful building.
Tree of Life Fund The Sanctuary wall of B'nai Sholom is adorned with loving memorials and wishes on the original Tree of Life. A second Tree of Life was installed in the 10th Street foyer thanks to the generosity of Herb and Betty Colker. The Trees of Life provide a way of remembering and honoring people whose lives have touched ours in a special way. Brass leaves can be purchased on the original Tree of Life in memory or in honor of a loved one on any occasion.

Memorial Fund Gifts can be made in memory of a recent death of a relative or friend.
Memorial Plaques A bronze memorial plaque is an appropriate way to honor the memory of a family member or friend. The plaque is placed on the tablets in the Sanctuary. Each plaque displays the name of the loved one.

Yahrzeit Donation A Yahrzeit is the anniversary of a loved one’s passing. In Judaism it is customary to light a candle or make a donation on that day. We all stand and pray together as we remember your loved one on this day.
Rabbi’s Discretionary Fund Gifts are used for charitable and educational purposes, in confidentiality. Individual, communal, national and Jewish charities also receive support from this fund.
Organ Restoration Fund Gifts are used to refurbish and maintain the E. M. Skinner Pipe Organ 550 (1926).
Congregation Fund Gifts are dedicated to the general fund for operating expenses.
Sanctuary Fund Gifts are used to maintain the beauty of the Sanctuary.
Yiddish Choir Fund Gifts support the choir director and other expenses associated with the choir.
Beryl Carande Memorial Choir Fund Members of the congregation established this fund to honor the memory of Beryl Carande and her love for music. Gifts are used for choir related activities.
Library Fund Gifts are used to purchase library materials. Dedicatory plates are placed in new books.
