Youth Group
If you or your child is in middle school or high school, please consider the B'nai Sholom Youth Group. Anyone in 8th grade, or post bar/bat mitzvah, through high school graduation can become an active member. Our goals are to unite local Jewish youth, to continue interest in pursuing Jewish identity and activities, and to raise our visibility as a service/religious organization with the adult congregation and in the Huntington community. The Youth Group focuses on Jewish values, charity, and volunteerism as well as activities that are just fun. These activities include volunteering at the animal shelter, watching Jewish-themed films, conducting youth services, laser tag, and just hanging out. _____________________________________________________ B'nai Sholom is a member of the North American Federation of Temple Youth. "NFTY’s heart and soul is the local URJ synagogue Temple Youth Group (TYG)." Your membership in TYG allows the young people of B'nai Sholom to participate in both the National Reform and Conservative Youth Group activities. |
